The need for a good tequila…

 

The origin of our name stems from a family memory I cherish deeply.

My grandmother, a woman of humble origins but with an elegant vocabulary, used obscure words like "necessity" to refer to what is necessary.

One hot morning, just before leaving for the beach, she shouted energetically:

"The bus has arrived, grab your necessities and let's go!"

That's when I saw my grandfather appear, wearing his baseball cap, a pack of cigarettes… and, of course, a bottle of tequila.

My grandmother, with her irony, said to him: "Is that also a necessity?"

And he, with a mischievous smile, replied:

"You said to bring what is necessary… today, tequila is my necessity."

From that day on, I knew that a good tequila can also be a necessity.

For us, tequila isn't just a drink: it's part of the family, of the stories, of the laughter.

Menester isn't just a name; it's a tribute to our roots, to the warmth of our gatherings, and to the flavor that unites generations.
